The introduction covers the basics of end-to-end automatic speech recognition, and how to get started with ASR using NeMo. You should be able to import the notebook from Google Colab by using the "Upload from GitHub" option. It is not a recommended way to do inference in production workflows. If you are interested in a production-level inference using NeMo ASR models, please sign-up to Jarvis early access program.
This tutorial builds upon the introduction to ASR and covers the basics of speech command detection using the Google Speech Commands dataset. Inspite of the small size of the model, advanced augmentation schemes such as SpecAugment can deliver high performance models. We further analyse classification errors made by the model, and listen to samples which are predicted with least confidence by the trained model. This exercise can be valuable when attempting to diagnose issues with the model or inspecting the dataset for inaccurate labelling.

This tutorial shows you how to set up disaster recovery for Azure VMs by replicating them from one Azure region to another. In this tutorial, you learn how to:. This article provides instructions for deploying disaster recovery with the simplest settings.
Azure Site Recovery (ASR) step by step guide
If you want to learn about customized settings, review the articles in the How To section. On the Azure portal menu or from the Home page, select Create a resource. In Namespecify a friendly name to identify the vault.
If you have more than one subscription, select the appropriate one. Create a resource group or select an existing one. Specify an Azure region. To access the vault from the dashboard, select Pin to dashboard and then select Create. The new vault is added to the Dashboard under All resourcesand on the main Recovery Services vaults page. For Site Recovery to work as expected, you need to modify outbound network connectivity from the VMs that you want to replicate.

Learn more. Check that the VMs you want to replicate have the latest root certificates. If they don't, the VM can't be registered to Site Recovery because of security constraints. Azure Site Recovery provides three built-in roles to control Site Recovery management operations. A user with this role, however, can't create or delete a Recovery Services vault or assign access rights to other users.
This role is best suited for disaster recovery administrators who can enable and manage disaster recovery for applications or entire organizations. Site Recovery Operator - This role has permissions to execute and manage Failover and Failback operations.
A user with this role can't enable or disable replication, create or delete vaults, register new infrastructure, or assign access rights to other users. This role is best suited for a disaster recovery operator who can fail over virtual machines or applications when instructed by application owners and IT administrators.
Post resolution of the disaster, the disaster recovery operator can reprotect and failback the virtual machines. This role is best suited for an IT monitoring executive who can monitor the current state of protection and raise support tickets. In Source locationselect the source Azure region where your VMs are currently running.
Select the Source subscription where the virtual machines are running. This can be any subscription within the same Azure Active Directory tenant where your recovery services vault exists. Select the Source resource groupand select OK to save the settings.
Site Recovery creates default settings and replication policy for the target region. You can change these settings as required.
To override the default target settings, select Customize next to Resource group, Network, Storage and Availability. To customize replication policy settings, select Customize next to Replication policyand modify the settings as needed.
Then select OK.This article is the first tutorial in a series that shows you how to set up disaster recovery for on-premises VMs. Tutorials show you the simplest deployment path for a scenario. They use default options where possible, and don't show all possible settings and paths. If you don't have an Azure subscription, create a free account before you begin.
Then sign in to the Azure portal. If you just created your free Azure account, you're the administrator of your subscription and you have the permissions you need. If you're not the subscription administrator, work with the administrator to assign the permissions you need. To enable replication for a new virtual machine, you must have permission to:. To complete these tasks your account should be assigned the Virtual Machine Contributor built-in role.
In addition, to manage Site Recovery operations in a vault, your account should be assigned the Site Recovery Contributor built-in role. From the Azure portal menu, select Create a resourceand search the Marketplace for Recovery.
In the Create Recovery Services vault page, select the Subscription. We're using Contoso Subscription. In Resource groupselect an existing resource group or create a new one. For this tutorial we're using contosoRG. In Vault nameenter a friendly name to identify the vault. For this set of tutorials we're using ContosoVMVault.
In Regionselect the region in which the vault should be located. We're using West Europe. On-premises machines are replicated to Azure managed disks. When failover occurs, Azure VMs are created from these managed disks, and joined to the Azure network you specify in this procedure. In Nameenter a network name. The name must be unique within the Azure resource group. We're using ContosoASRnet in this tutorial. In Address spaceenter the virtual network's address range in CDR notation.
We're using Specify the Resource group in which the network will be created. We're using the existing resource group contosoRG. In Locationselect the same region as that in which the Recovery Services vault was created.

In our tutorial it's West Europe. The network must be in the same region as the vault. In Address rangeenter the range for the network. We're leaving the default options of basic DDoS protection, with no service endpoint, or firewall on the network. The virtual network takes a few seconds to create. After it's created, you'll see it in the Azure portal dashboard. The minute blitz is the most common starting point, and provides a broad view into how to use PyTorch from the basics all the way into constructing deep neural networks.

Note, this template will consuming about 1. This is a result of Microsoft consolidating the Configuration server and Process server into one workload. Note, the licence provided with OVF template is an evaluation licence valid for days. You as the customer need to activate the windows with a procured licence. Now we need to provide the server with some local administrative credentials.
Once you have given it some credentials, the server will auto login. The ASR wizard should launch on its own, if not, you can launch it manually — the icon should be on the desktop. Once the ASR wizard starts, we will now need to complete the setup for this server following by registering the server with ASR. Next, we need to validate the server can go over the Internet, ie.
Azure and communicate as needed. If you are using a proxy, here is the time to set that up. One thing to note, having the proxy settings configured within Internet Explorer should be removed. Once an Internet connection has been established, we can then sign into the Azure Portal. Once you have logged into Azure successfully, you will need to reboot the server. Once the server is back online, the next steps is to configure the Configuration server.
The server will auto-launch the ASR wizard, if not, launch it from the desktop icon. Note, you can add as many as NICs needed, however, this needs to be done at the vSphere level. So, make sure you have it configured exactly as you need it. In my case, we will only need one, so, we will configure the NIC here. Next, we need to sign into our Azure account, and select the corresponding subscription, resource group and select the appropriate recovery services vault.
All of these should be available, and should have been created well before we began configure this server, as per the prerequisites…. Gotcha, here, the appliance did not provide the vSphere PowerCLI tools, so we had to manually download, and install it.
As mentioned, this was not provided, although it should have been. If we continued forward, the wizard would have thrown an error at the end of validation. Next, we need to now provide the credentials and information with regards to our vCenter server s. Please read the prerequisites with regards to the needed permissions to allow our ASR Configuration server to communicate with the vCenter server s. Next we need to provide Windows and Linux based credentials to deploy install the ASR Mobility Service to all machines that will need to be replicated to Azure.
For this exercise, we are not replicating Linux machines to Azure, however if we were, similar to the Windows Mobility Service, we would need to provide some credentials that have elevated access to each of the Linux machines. Once we have provided all the information above, we should now be able to validate some of the settings we have provided, and register our server with Azure and the Recovery Services vault. We can also now click on the Process Server and get some additional information as well. This is the third tutorial in a series that shows you how to set up disaster recovery to Azure for on-premises VMware VMs.
In the previous tutorial, we prepared the on-premises VMware environment for disaster recovery to Azure. Tutorials show you the simplest deployment path for a scenario.9th log video 12
They use default options where possible, and don't show all possible settings and paths. In your source environment, you need a single, highly available, on-premises machine to host these on-premises Site Recovery components:.
All of these components are installed together on the single on-premises machines that's known as the configuration server. On Select name and folder and Select configurationaccept the default settings. By default, the template contains a single NIC. You can add additional NICs after deployment. If you want to add an additional NIC to the configuration server, add it before you register the server in the vault. Adding additional adapters isn't supported after registration.
Finish setting up and registering the configuration server. Before proceeding, ensure all pre-requisites are met for successful set up of configuration server. After the configuration server is registered, Site Recovery connects to VMware servers by using the specified settings, and discovers VMs. It can take 15 minutes or more for the account name to appear in the portal. Select the Azure subscription you want to use. We're using a Resource Manager model.
Site Recovery checks that you have one or more virtual networks. You should have these when you set up the Azure components in the first tutorial in this tutorial series.
Open the Azure portal. Search for and select Recovery Services vaults. In Create replication policyenter the policy name. We're using VMwareRepPolicy.Good morning sir, I'm here before the math paper only to thank you so much for the amount you've pulled me up in math, and made me so much more confident about it.
